Game Type: Open-World RPG, First-Person Shooter

Initial Release Issues: When Cyberpunk 2077 first launched, it was plagued with bugs and performance issues, especially on older consoles. This was surprising for many fans, considering the high expectations from CD Projekt Red after the success of The Witcher 3. The game’s technical problems led to widespread backlash and even temporary removal from the PlayStation Store.

My Experience: Knowing the issues at launch, I decided to wait for about a year and a half until the developers patched most of the major bugs. I finally bought the game when it was in a more stable state, and I’ve been immensely rewarded for my patience. This game has transformed into a modern masterpiece—one that blends a captivating story, intricate world-building, and immersive gameplay in a way that few others can.

Reviews: Initially met with mixed reviews due to its performance issues, the game has since been redeemed in the eyes of many players after multiple updates. The current Metacritic score has improved, with many praising its story, world design, and freedom of choice in gameplay. Its DLC is also a must play for cyberpunk fans.
