Hey there, fellow CS2 fanatics(silvers)! The Esports World Cup 2024🏆 is right around the corner, and it’s time to lock in those fantasy team picks. I’ve done some serious homework (a.k.a. binge-watching pro games), and I’m here to share my top picks. Let’s dive in!
Support Player: Mezii
First up, for the support role, I’ve gone with Mezii. I’ve always been a fan of this guy. Even under Apex’s, um, “unique” leadership style, Mezii shines. Apex, in my opinion, shouldn’t be leading a parade, let alone a CS:GO team. Captains should be cool and composed, not…whatever Apex is. Despite having superstars like Zywoo and Spinx, Vitality often chokes, thanks to Apex. #saveZywoo, am I right?
AWPer: Mr. Wonderful
For the AWPer role, I’ve picked Mr. Wonderful. This guy is a beast with the AWP and a clutch master. He’s the backbone of his team, stepping up when it matters most. Also, I’m a big fan of AleksiB as an IGL—super underrated, folks.
Multi Fragger: B1t
Now, for the multi-fragger, I usually go with Ropz or Spinx. But this time, I’m switching it up and putting my money on B1t. I’ve been watching his Faceit gameplay, and he’s got serious potential. High hopes for this young gun to frag out!
HS Machine: Mzinho
The headshot machine role typically goes to B1t or Rain, but due to budget constraints and team limits, I’ve picked Mzinho. This guy has been impressive in recent tournaments. Honestly, I’d rather have five solid players than a mix of inconsistent stars and benchwarmers.
Leader: Electronic
The leader role usually goes to the less flashy players in top teams. In the past, I’d pick Karrigan, Hooxi, or Chopper, but this time I’m putting my money on Electronic. He’s an aggressive rifler from Virtus.Pro, and it’s his time to shine with the new roster after spending so much time underperforming in current roster.
The Big Question: Who’s Winning?
Alright, let’s get to the predictions. My top pick to win the tournament is NAVI. They’ve got the synergy and firepower to take it all. If NAVI stumbles, my second choice is FaZe, followed by Virtus.Pro in third place.
